Warmth in every plate

“Food Security” is love, care, and daily support that we provide to those who need it most

Three times a week, our kitchen transforms into a true workshop of kindness. From early morning, pots are boiling, herbs are being chopped, bread is baking, and volunteers work together like one big family. In every portion, there is generosity, love, and a desire to give people a sense of home, so often lost amidst challenging circumstances.

Our beneficiaries include elderly people, internally displaced persons, large families, and anyone who particularly needs care right now. For some, these hot meals are the only chance to enjoy lunch at home, in a warm atmosphere, feeling that someone cares for them.

An equally important part of our story is the support of caring individuals. People contribute what they’ve grown with their own hands - cucumbers, zucchini, herbs, potatoes, carrots - all fresh, natural, and given with love. Thanks to this, our meals become especially nutritious and taste truly “homemade.”

Food Security is also a place where genuine friendship is born. Volunteers share not only their labor but also smiles, kind words, and heartfelt hugs. The kitchen often resonates with laughter, stories, and songs - and everyone who comes here knows: this is more than just a project. It is a space where unity transforms into care, and care transforms into warmth in the heart.

We are immensely grateful to everyone who contributes - with ingredients, hands, time, warmth, or simply a word of support. Together, we create culinary care that warms not only bodies but also souls. Because even in the most turbulent times, everyone deserves the comfort of a home-cooked meal and the feeling that they are not alone.
