Warmth is close every day

The Food Security project prepares bread and hot meals three times a week for those who need support

Despite all current challenges, our Food Security project continues to operate at full capacity. We believe: no one in the community should be left alone with difficulties. That is why three times a week, our volunteer kitchen is bustling with activity.

Here we bake fresh, fragrant bread, prepare hot charitable meals, and package portions with care and attention to every detail. Each process - from kneading the dough to delivering the finished meals - is not just cooking but a genuine expression of support and humanity.

Every day, we see the grateful eyes of our beneficiaries - elderly individuals, clients of Hesed Besht, residents of Hesed Obshchina, and those who were forced to leave their homes and found refuge in our city. For many of them, these meals are not only about food. They are about a sense of security, stability, and knowing that there are people who care.

Food security is more than words. It is real help here and now. It is a hot meal at the right moment, fresh baked goods with tea, and a sign that says: “We are together.”

We invite everyone to join our team. Together we can do more - for those who especially need support today.
