Warmth on the Eve of Passover
Volunteers helped unload and deliver Matzah to Hesed families, children, and homebound beneficiaries
On the eve of Passover, a special atmosphere of preparation for the holiday filled Hesed. During these days, matzah was delivered to the center for beneficiaries - families, children, and homebound clients, for whom this traditional symbol of Passover is an important part of the celebration.
From early morning, volunteers enthusiastically joined the work. They helped unload the boxes, sort them, and prepare them for further distribution to the beneficiaries. This shared effort quickly became yet another expression of care and mutual support, as everyone understood how important it was for all members of the community to feel attention and warmth on the eve of the holiday.
After unloading, the matzah was delivered to those who especially look forward to support and human connection. For many beneficiaries, these visits mean not only receiving the necessary products for the holiday, but also a reminder that they are not left alone, that there are people nearby who are ready to support them and share the warmth of the holiday.
Passover reminds us of the value of freedom, unity, and mutual responsibility for one another. And it is precisely such seemingly simple acts as helping with the delivery of matzah that fill the holiday with special meaning and make it truly alive.
We sincerely thank all the volunteers who joined this important initiative. Thanks to your care and willingness to help, traditions continue to live on, and the warmth of the holiday reaches the homes of those who need it most.
