Warmth That Begins with Care
Volunteers prepared fragrant fruit teas to give Hesed clients a touch of summer and warmth during winter
Care often begins with simple things - gathered herbs, fragrant fruits and the desire to bring someone a little warmth. For several years now, our volunteers have been preparing supplies of aromatic teas to warm Hesed clients on cold winter evenings.
This year, the tradition continued: volunteers gathered, dried and packed ingredients, putting a piece of their hearts into every package.
Members of the "Jewish Cuisine" club played a special role in this effort, drying fruits while carefully preserving their aroma and flavor. Young volunteers then packed the prepared ingredients into small bags, carefully preparing each gift.
The fragrant tea sets were later delivered to Hesed clients. Each package contained not only fruits and herbs but also attention, sincerity and a desire to support those who especially need human warmth and care.
Such initiatives bring generations together: some share their experience, others contribute their energy and hard work, and together they create something truly valuable. After all, even a small gift can remind someone that they are remembered and cared for.
