We remember. We care. We act.

The Volunteer Center carried out an important initiative — a cleanup campaign at the Jewish cemetery in Chernihiv

This initiative brought together people who care about history, culture, and memory. Participants included representatives from the Chernihiv City Territorial Center for Social Services and the Synagogue “Jewish Center Chernihiv.”

Over several hours of joint work, we achieved a lot: trimmed young bushes, mowed the grass around graves, removed dry branches and litter, and cleaned tombstones from dust and the marks of time. It was a true act of respect for past generations, for those who shaped the history of our community.

This cleanup is not just physical labor. It is a moment of unity. It is care for what has become the past but remains important today. We believe that by caring for memory, we are building a future where gratitude, respect, and bright remembrance have their place.

We sincerely thank everyone who joined. Together, we are not just a team. We are a living, active community.
