Weeks of Good Deeds
Halom volunteers supported elderly people, children, residents of frontline territories, and an animal shelter
During two Weeks of Good Deeds, Halom volunteers and community members united around a common goal - to fill this time with care, support, and meaningful acts of kindness.
Throughout the campaign, volunteers helped neighbors, wrote words of support to those going through difficult times, and stayed close to people who especially needed attention. They prepared meals and delivered them to elderly people, assembled food packages, organized various activities, and brought treats and board games to children, creating an atmosphere of joy and carefree moments for them.
Some acts of kindness remained unseen by others. Participants completed tasks from a special checklist, performing good deeds anonymously - without expecting gratitude or recognition, but with the desire to make someone's day a little brighter.
Together with Hillel, volunteers also joined efforts to collect medicines and animal food for a shelter, as well as clothing for residents of frontline territories. This joint work once again demonstrated that even small contributions from many people can turn into meaningful support for those who need it most.
We sincerely thank everyone who became part of this initiative. It is thanks to people's compassion, willingness to help, and open hearts that there are now many more good deeds in our community.
