Not so long ago, in our voluntary center a new project “Hanukah marathon” has started. A lot of volunteers have joined us in this event, so we were able to brighten up the days of more people.

With the help of volunteers we collected 20 kilograms of sweets, 200 boxes of bagged tea, make more the 100 bars of soaps with our own hands, call and congratulate more 97 elderly members of the community and wish them all the best for the celebration of Hanukah. We haven’t forgot about kids and delivered 92 gifts to both elders and children.

We have been preparing hard for this day! We have placed posters in every Jewish organization of the city, to help us collect all of the goods to deliver to kids and elders of the community.

Altogether 74 volunteers were involved, as well as 3 organizations.
