"Backpack for a Child" Campaign
The "Backpack for a Child" campaign, supported by the Odessa Volunteer Community, aims to help children from low-income, incomplete, and socially vulnerable families adequately prepare for school by providing them with essential supplies.
Project Description:
Once a year, the project organizes a collection of stationery and other necessary items for schoolchildren to ensure they have everything they need and to draw public attention to the issues faced by children in difficult circumstances. Anyone willing to support schoolchildren from low-income and socially vulnerable families can participate in the campaign.
Project Goals:
The project aims to create conditions for quality education for children from low-income and socially vulnerable families and to raise public awareness of the challenges faced by this group of the population.
Role of Volunteers:
The "Backpack for a Child" campaign is organized with the support of volunteers, who are responsible for collecting stationery and other necessary items for schoolchildren. Additionally, volunteers promote the event and advertise it on various platforms to inform and engage the public. Volunteers also handle the distribution of the collected items to children in need.
Project Results:
Thanks to the campaign, children in need receive support in the form of stationery and everything necessary for school, enabling them to achieve better academic success. Furthermore, this event fosters social responsibility among the population, encouraging support for those in need.
