Code Red

Engaging volunteers in blood donation and spreading information about this important process in society

Project "Code Red"

Blood donation is an act of kindness and support that each of us can provide. To increase the popularity of blood donation among volunteers and other segments of the population, the project "Code Red" was created with the support of the Kyiv Volunteer Community Hillel.

Project Description:

As part of the project, volunteers donate blood for those in need once every quarter. In doing so, they set an example for other members of society and encourage others to do the same. The campaign is actively promoted on various platforms, contributing to the growth of public responsibility towards blood donation and recruiting new volunteers.

Project Goals:

The project aims to draw attention to the issue of blood donation in the community and increase its popularity among the population. Additionally, regular blood donation events have significant practical importance, helping to replenish the blood bank for those in need.

Role of Volunteers:

The project is organized with the support of volunteers who actively participate in blood donation events and spread information about the importance of blood donation while recruiting new volunteers.

Project Results:

Thanks to the project, the number of blood donors among volunteers and in society as a whole is increasing. Additionally, there is an improvement in the youth's and volunteers' attitudes towards blood donation as a charitable activity, enabling them to provide regular practical support to those in need of blood transfusions.
