Greeting Hesed participants on Jewish holidays and Shabbat to support cultural traditions
Goal: to support community members in observing Jewish traditions, strengthen spiritual and social unity, create an atmosphere of joy and mutual understanding during holidays, and engage them in active participation in communal life.
Project description:
The project involves organizing events in the community center for Hesed participants on Jewish holidays and Shabbat. Volunteers arrange festive gatherings, prepare greetings, create a celebratory atmosphere, and conduct joint activities so that participants feel the support of the community, remain connected to traditions, and interact with other members of the community.
Project objectives:
Support the cultural and spiritual activity of community members, ensure observance of Jewish holidays and traditions, strengthen social bonds among community members, create an atmosphere of joy, understanding, and togetherness, and engage elderly people in active participation in community life.
Volunteer roles:
- Organization and facilitation of festive gatherings in the community center.
- Preparation of greetings and materials for events.
- Creating a festive atmosphere and conducting joint activities.
- Supporting participants in observing cultural and religious traditions.
Project outcomes:
