Creating an Effective and Sustainable Support System for Homeless Animals by Volunteers

The "Friends" project is a social initiative aimed at helping homeless animals, improving their quality of life, reducing the number of sick animals, and controlling their population.

Project Description:

The project regularly organizes the collection of humanitarian aid, including food, medicines, and other resources necessary to improve the quality of life of homeless animals. Medical support, socialization, and further placement of animals in families are also provided.

Project Goals:

The project aims to create a sustainable and effective support system for homeless animals, which includes:

  • Providing food;
  • Medical assistance;
  • Socialization;
  • Placement.

Another goal of the project is to raise public awareness about the issue of homeless animals and opportunities for their support.

Role of Volunteers:

Volunteer tasks within the project include:

  • Informing and actively engaging the public in the issue of homeless animals;
  • Collecting humanitarian aid;
  • Caring for animals;
  • Providing medical supervision and timely assistance;
  • Socialization;
  • Assisting in placement.

Expected Project Outcomes:

  • Increase in public responsibility towards homeless animals;
  • Improvement in the quality of life of animals;
  • Reduction in the number of sick animals through regular medical monitoring;
  • Prevention of uncontrolled growth of the animal population;
  • Increase in the number of adoptions.
