The "Workshops for Seniors for Jewish Holidays" project aims to socialize elderly community members, immerse them in cultural traditions, improve their emotional well-being, and enhance their quality of life.
Project Description:
The project regularly organizes creative and culinary workshops timed to significant Jewish holidays such as Purim, Pesach, Sukkot, and Hanukkah. During these workshops, participants explore culinary, craft, and cultural traditions.
Goals of the Project:
- Preserving and passing on the traditions of Jewish holidays.
- Improving the emotional well-being of elderly participants.
- Combating loneliness among senior community members.
- Creating a platform to strengthen intergenerational bonds.
Role of Volunteers:
- Preparing and conducting holiday-themed workshops.
