The “Jewish Birthday” Project

Greeting and celebrating community members’ birthdays to strengthen social connections

Creating a tradition of celebrating birthdays for community members of all ages, especially children and the elderly, to foster a sense of belonging and show care for everyone.

Project description:

The project organizes greetings and small celebratory events for community members on their birthdays. Volunteers prepare gifts, cards, and create a festive atmosphere, giving people of all ages the opportunity to feel valued and cared for by the community.

Project goals:

- Support community members of all ages, especially children and the elderly, through individual greetings and birthday celebrations.

- Create positive emotional connections among community members.

- Enhance social integration and the sense of personal significance within the community.

Role of volunteers:

- Organize and conduct birthday celebrations.

- Prepare gifts, cards, and festive decorations.

- Provide emotional comfort and joy during celebratory moments.

- Create an atmosphere of togetherness and warmth for all participants.

Project results:

- Increased social integration of community members.

- Improved emotional well-being of children and the elderly.

- Strengthened sense of significance and belonging to the community.
