Taste of traditions
Ahead of Purim, volunteers once again united to bring the atmosphere of celebration and joy
Volunteers held a delightful and warm workshop on baking traditional triangular cookies, "Hamentashen", ahead of Purim.

The meeting began with a story about the history of this symbolic treat. Volunteers explained why the cookies are shaped this way and how they became an essential part of Purim traditions. Then, everyone got to work: they kneaded the dough, rolled it out, cut circles, added a tasty filling inside, and carefully pinched the edges, creating the signature triangular shape.

The cooking process brought not only culinary pleasure but also much conversation, memories, and heartfelt emotions. Some participants had been baking Hamentashen for many years and shared their secrets: how to make the dough softer, which filling to choose for the perfect taste. Others were trying it for the first time and eagerly discovered the traditional recipe.
The scent of fresh baking quickly filled the room, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. When the first batches of cookies were ready, everyone gathered around the table to taste their creations and share their impressions.

This workshop was yet another reminder that traditions are best passed down through touch, taste, and shared emotions. Thanks to everyone who joined, who kneaded the dough, shaped the Hamentashen, baked with love, and shared warmth with one another. Together, we created a true celebration that will surely remain in our memories!
