Yearly, more than 15 000 premature children babies are being born in Ukraine. For more than a year now, our project is creating knitted clothes for such kids. Hand-knitted clothes not only fit babies perfectly, but also due to the material keep them warm and stimulate blood flow.

This year we want to attract more attention to the problems that families with premature kids are facing, so we start the “Blanket of a thousand hearts” event.

Our goal is creating a blanket out of 15 000 knitted 10x10 squares for every premature kid. Every kid and elder, boy and girl that are not indifferent to the problem take part in the knitting process.

At the end, we will connect all the “hearts” in one big blanket filled with love and support. Grand finale of this journey will take place at the central square of the Kryvyi Rih and will be captured as a national record of the Ukraine.
