Culinary Competition

Volunteers from the Halom Volume and Bnei Azriel centers organized a culinary competition to make fragrant doughnuts.

The Hanukkah Marathon is a time when performing good deeds is customary, spreading the light of the holiday and providing warmth and support to those around us. In Kiev, 25 volunteer centers participated in the marathon. Each of them contributed to the improvement of people's lives around us.

Volunteers from the Halom Volume and "Bnei Azriel" centers decided not only to feed but also to entertain their wards by arranging a culinary duel to prepare doughnuts.

The competition took place under the hospitable roof of "Halom." Split into two teams, children, teenagers, and adults enthusiastically prepared delicious doughnuts, charging them with their energy and demonstrating extraordinary culinary skills.

The recipe for making doughnuts was the same, but each team showed a creative approach, making their doughnuts special. Participants of the event and elderly clients of "Hesed Bnei Azriel" were able to enjoy the wonderful taste of the dessert, but most importantly, they felt the warmth of support and care from the volunteers.

Thanks to the volunteers and all the participants! Thanks to you, the miracle of Hanukkah became quite tangible, taking the form of a delicious dessert. We are confident that everyone who touched it received a lot of positive emotions and felt sincere gratitude.
