Knowledge of Rosh Hashanah and the associated rituals and traditions play a significant role in the life of the Jewish community. They not only preserve cultural heritage and faith but also provide a deeper understanding of this sacred period and the importance of prayers, atonement for sins, and spiritual renewal. A culinary masterclass was held to familiarize volunteers from the Kryvyi Rih Volunteer Community with the history, traditions of the holiday, and other aspects of the culture.
During the meeting, participants discussed the celebration of Rosh Hashanah and the significance of the holiday. Topics related to the "Book of Life," judgment, and the influence of each individual on their future were also discussed.
Delicious apple and cinnamon pancakes were prepared during the masterclass. Participants also had the opportunity to try making coffee with various spices: cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla, and pepper. Additionally, the participants made an apple crumble.
This meeting was an important event for the community, providing new knowledge and opening up new culinary possibilities for the participants.
