Environmental Awareness

The event organized by volunteers as part of the To be-eco campaign has become a significant step in supporting low-income families.

Members of our community in Kharkiv eagerly await the wonderful holiday of Tu BiShvat. This year, volunteers from the Kharkov Volunteer Community and the Beit Dan Volunteer Platform organized a series of events for our beneficiaries as part of the To be-eco campaign, dedicated to the New Year of Trees. The goal of this volunteer initiative was to assist low-income families and promote environmental awareness among community members.

The workshops, where participants learned to create eco-panels, garnered great interest. The themes of the created panels precisely matched the message of the environmental campaign and reflected a love for nature. Under the guidance of a volunteer, participants successfully mastered the painting technique, regardless of their natural talent for drawing.

Time at the workshop passed unnoticed amid pleasant communication and discussions on the topic of nature protection and our efforts to improve the environmental situation worldwide.

The To be-eco campaign brings together dozens of people who are passionate about environmental issues. With their actions, they demonstrate how important collective efforts are for the common good. Such events contribute to the development of intercommunity ties and better collaboration in raising environmental awareness.

We thank the volunteers for their contribution to shaping a more environmentally conscious society and the attention shown to low-income families. They greatly need your support and care!
