Cancer does not wait for the end of the war or the pandemic... So these kids are used to fighting, but forced to fight on two fronts!

The life of parents who hear the terrible diagnosis of their child is turned upside down! Childhood in isolation, life in isolation, fear and uncertainty! But children, not fully realizing the complexity of the disease, fool around, smile and happily play the game.

Our volunteers from the Rivne Volunteer Community Center, together with the volunteers of the "Skarbnitsa Nadiya" charity fund, entertained the children from the oncohematology department - they created a delicious fruit and vegetable master class. Practically sculpted, painted and carved from fruits and vegetables the strange new world of animals! This free-hand improvisation interested both kids and their mothers, who gladly joined this holiday of benefits and flowers!

What was not on the table: sweet hedgehogs, snails, lions, jellyfish, caterpillars, bears and even edible cars and LEGO constructors. It was an incredible evening. Communicated with mothers, played with kids, joked and created masterpieces. But, most importantly, they once again proved that the smile of a mother and child undergoing treatment in oncohematology is worth all the awards in the world!

May every child return to his home soon, healthy and under a peaceful sky!
