Shabbat is a great opportunity to bake traditional challahs and share them with the elders to celebrate the upcoming Saturday. Thus, volunteers from Republican Voluntary center from Romy baked Challahs especially for the community of Hesed.

Elders were pleasantly surprised and grateful for the volunteer’s visit and their symbolical gifts, as at these trying times they do not get enough opportunities for socialization. It is wonderful that there are people who actively participate in such events and share the warmth of their hearts with others.
