In Living Memory
Cleaning up the Jewish cemetery is a long tradition of our community volunteers
The past of our community is preserved in every corner of the Jewish cemetery, and it is especially close to our hearts to preserve this valuable part of our history. This is especially significant, given that many of the deceased rest there without relatives, relatives or acquaintances. Time, unfortunately, does its job, and some of us are no longer able to remember all the departed, someone left, and someone is no longer with us ....
Every year, by gathering for volunteer actions, we not only come into contact with the past, but also create strong ties with the present. Together, with one spirit, we decorate and clean ancient burial places, shrouded in many memories. Yes, this is a long and hard work, especially in the heat, but each of our efforts is worth it!
Taking care of our Jewish cemetery is not only respect for traditions, but also a living memory that helps us better understand our past and ourselves. Our community brings history to life, making it more accessible and meaningful to all of us.
