International Action "Reverse Tashlich"

DVC volunteers, together with Hillel CASE, took part in an eco-action to clean up coastal areas.

This year, our volunteers had the opportunity to participate in the international initiative "Reverse Tashlich," where they joined Hillel students in cleaning up the banks of the Dnipro River.

For our city, the river is a special place, as even the name of the city is connected to it. Many people not only enjoy the beautiful views but, unfortunately, also litter near the water.

In a matter of hours, our volunteers collected more than a dozen bags of plastic bottles, trash bags, glass, and construction waste. The cleanup led to a significant improvement in the condition of the riverbank, allowing people to enjoy the sunset over the Dnipro without being distracted by piles of garbage.

This is just one of the environmental initiatives we have participated in, and we are confident that such efforts to clean up the environment will continue, as we realize the importance of maintaining the cleanliness and health of our nature.
