Launch of "Caring Connection"

Launching the new project "Caring Connection" in collaboration with the Hesed Shaarei Tikva Foundation

Volunteers from the Kharkiv center have given the green light to the "Caring Connection" project, where elderly individuals learn to use modern gadgets in their daily lives. The first step involved distributing smartphones with special software among project participants.

Joint support facilitated the provision of smartphones tailored to the needs of elderly people, enabling quick access to useful features and applications. Devices are designed with features like large fonts, user-friendly interfaces, and easy access to all functions, ensuring ease of use for the golden age generation.

To familiarize themselves with smartphone operations, our volunteers visited Hesed, where they received all necessary instructions. Subsequently, the new devices were delivered to homes, where their new owners could fully appreciate their convenience and functionality.

The "Caring Connection" project helps participants stay connected regardless of their geographical location, enabling them to maintain an active social life by participating in community events online. It also opens doors to new knowledge and skills essential in today's digital world. Proficiency in using electronic gadgets offers significant opportunities for communication, self-improvement, and learning.

We thank our volunteers for their active participation in the project! With your help, we are confident that our beneficiaries will successfully adapt to new technologies, becoming more confident and socially engaged. Together, we make the lives of our senior citizens richer and more fulfilling!
