Loop of Joy
The volunteers of the "Kindness Ball" project gathered to bring joy and support to the Hesed day center.
The wonderful "Kindness Ball" project continues to firmly "connect" its volunteers, participants, and beneficiaries, who each time receive useful warm items. This time, volunteers and participants of the Day Center gathered at the project meeting, enthusiastically immersing themselves in the world of handicrafts.
For the elderly, knitting is an excellent opportunity to train fine motor skills, which is beneficial for maintaining cognitive functions. Moreover, learning new patterns and schemes greatly stimulates the imagination and allows for the creation of real knitting masterpieces.
Under the guidance of volunteers, the gathered individuals progressed "loop by loop," mastering the new art, deriving immense pleasure from both the creative process and the friendly interaction. Young volunteers and elderly participants felt united in their desire to bring benefit to those in need.
We thank everyone who participates in the "Kindness Ball" project. Your efforts bring tangible results in the form of practical and much-needed items, each of which is filled with your warmth and care!
