"PovoDog" Expands Its Activities

Volunteers from the project have initiated collaboration and assistance to the Zoo Garden at the boarding school for visually impaired children.

Volunteers from the "PovoDog" project in Zaporizhzhia have expanded their efforts to help our smaller brothers, starting cooperation with the zoo at the boarding school for visually impaired children "Orientir." At the beginning of the year, members of the volunteer center visited the zoo, bringing food to its inhabitants and giving the furry tails the attention they needed.

Assistance to the zoo is important not only in terms of helping animals but also contributes to improving the lives of visually impaired children, for whom interacting with zoo animals is a pleasant and fun pastime. The fluffy tails bring them joy and help develop important human qualities such as compassion and kindness.

Through the example of the volunteers, children learn to take care of animals, understanding the importance of helping the weak and taking responsibility for them. The furry inhabitants of the zoo respond to care with gratitude and love.

Volunteer assistance significantly eases the care for animals in the zoo, whose maintenance requires both material investments and physical efforts from the shelter's staff. Thanks to the volunteers, the fluffy tails feel comfortable and are ready to share their love with the children.

The collaboration between the volunteers of the "PovoDog" project and the zoo at the "Orientir" boarding school is aimed at improving the lives of both animals and children. Thanks to the volunteers for your big hearts, where the flame of empathy and compassion burns!
