Shavuot for the "Semochka" project
The volunteers of the "Semochka" project at the Rivne Volunteer Community center organized a Shavuot celebration for the little ones.
Especially for this event, our dedicated volunteers developed an exciting program, including creative workshops and a fascinating journey into the history and traditions of the holiday. Of course, the holiday couldn't be complete without traditional dairy dishes that the children really enjoyed.
Shavuot carries not only interesting rituals and traditions but also reminds us of the importance of adhering to values and living in accordance with our history. We also talked to the children about the Ten Commandments, which serve as the foundation for moral and ethical education and the basis for the development of a just and respectful society.
Thanks to the volunteers, especially the Antonov family, we have taken another step towards shaping a future based on kindness, sincerity, respect, and justice. This holiday was another important milestone on our joint journey to a better future.
