Shelter Visit

Drawing can be a source of joy and relaxation for children in shelters.

Visiting children in shelters has become a tradition for the volunteers at the center in Dnipro. Each time, they strive to entertain the little ones, bringing more joy and positive emotions into their lives. This time, the volunteers organized a creative session that captured the attention of not only the children but also the adults.

Using colored pencils and paints, both adults and children engaged in creating vibrant paintings, the complexity of which depended solely on the imagination and skill of the artists. However, even a lack of artistic skills did not hinder self-expression.

Each drawing carried a powerful emotional charge. Drawing helped the children open up, and even the adults discovered new facets of their talent. This activity contributes to the development of imagination and creative thinking.

Joint creative time brings people closer together and helps build trusting relationships. This is crucial for children going through a challenging period in their lives. The bright emotions children receive from encounters with volunteers leave warm memories and warm their hearts. The little ones eagerly await new meetings.

Many thanks to the volunteers for caring for those who especially need support in difficult times. You bring joy to the lives of the little shelter residents, an essential element for any child. Your attention and care are priceless!
