The Light That Stays With Us

The holiday of Hanukkah has come to an end, but the warmth it brought continues to warm our hearts.

In anticipation of the long-awaited Hanukkah holiday, volunteers from the Kyiv center participated in a kindness marathon, focusing their efforts on the most vulnerable members of our community. The Hanukkah marathon lasted several weeks, during which volunteers delivered food packages and other essential household items to their beneficiaries.

The eagerly awaited visits from volunteers gave many community members the chance to celebrate Hanukkah at a festive table filled with treats, as tradition calls for. Equally important for our beneficiaries, however, was the much-needed warmth of human connection and companionship. Our volunteers maintain strong relationships with the community’s vulnerable members, becoming trusted friends who are always there to help in times of need.

Although the Hanukkah holiday has ended, the warmth, care, and love our volunteers shared will continue to brighten the lives of our beneficiaries for a long time to come. Even the smallest contribution to improving our community’s well-being has a profound impact, making the efforts of every volunteer truly invaluable.

Thank you to everyone who became part of this mission! Let’s continue working together to make the world a better place!
