Tu Bi-Shvat for Children

Children of the Jewish community enthusiastically created bright appliqués and real masterpieces.

Volunteers from the Lubny Volunteer Community organized a wonderful event for the children of the Jewish community, dedicated to the important holiday of Tu Bi-Shvat. The New Year of Trees is widely celebrated throughout the Jewish community, accompanying the festivities with interesting traditions.

The volunteers made every effort to fully convey the unique atmosphere of Tu Bi-Shvat. Creative tales were told about the symbolism of the holiday, in which trees were the main characters. Then, with the help of volunteers, the children engaged in making thematic and colorful appliqués from available materials.

Creative activities were accompanied by an interesting conversation that helped the children learn more about the New Year of Trees, symbolizing the renewal and restoration of living nature and the entire world. Among other things, the children learned about the wonderful tradition of planting trees, followed every year in Israel.

The volunteers were able to create a wonderful atmosphere for the children, full of joy and anticipation of spring. Thanks to their efforts, these beautiful holiday traditions will continue to be embraced by the younger generation.

We thank everyone who participated in this wonderful event! Your actions and creative approach make the lives of the community's children bright and fulfilling! Thank you for the children's smiles and joy, as well as for the inspiration that you generously share with the little ones!
