Volunteers Bring Joy and Tradition
Traditional Passover Seders for the solitary members of the Jewish community filled their homes with warmth and care.
As part of the "Hag Sameach" project, dedicated volunteers from our center conducted Passover visits to the homes of elderly solitary community members. These visits provided an opportunity to uphold traditions, as well as to communicate and share the joy of this wonderful holiday.
The volunteers took the observance of traditions seriously. During the Seder, we read the Haggadah and observed all the necessary rituals. Our charges enjoyed the atmosphere of love and care. The festive table was filled with a friendly atmosphere that made this evening special and memorable.
Thanks to the volunteers, solitary community members were able to feel like part of a big and friendly family, where everyone shows care and gives love. The shared meals became a source of positive emotions and positively impacted the psycho-emotional state of people deprived of full-fledged communication.
We thank the volunteers for their dedication and enthusiasm! We are confident that all difficulties and hardships can be overcome when there is support from close ones! Today, our community is such a family where everyone can count on help and support!
