Young volunteers

Attracting and training new volunteers, popularizing volunteering among pupils.

In February, the first online meeting was held with 5th grade students of Kharkiv Specialized School No. 170 on the topic "What is volunteering?".

The children showed real interest in getting to know the activities of volunteers and asked many questions: who can become a volunteer, what is needed for this, what skills and abilities are needed.

It is important to start such activities from an early age, since volunteering for pupils is an inexhaustible source of civic education, an opportunity to learn and promote solidarity, and to realize their potential. A young volunteer acquires practical life skills and guidelines through social activities.

Volunteering develops humanity in a child, the desire to help others and not stand aside from someone else's misfortune. These meetings will take place on a monthly basis as it is important for future volunteers to become competent, knowledgeable and self-determined about what they want to do.
