The "Hag Sameach: 'Visiting Sarochka and Abramchik'" project is designed to introduce children from crisis families served by JFS and specialized institutions to Jewish traditions in a playful manner through participation in entertaining programs.
Project Description:
The project involves regularly conducting entertaining and educational programs for community children, where they learn about Jewish culture and traditions. The learning process is made accessible to children using colorful characters that symbolize the Jewish people.
Project Goals:
- Create a platform for educating and entertaining children
- Introduce children to Jewish traditions and culture
- Improve the psycho-emotional state of children
- Develop communication and cooperation skills among children
- Foster a sense of belonging to a community
Role of Volunteers:
- Develop scripts for entertaining events
- Conduct various events for children (birthday parties, Jewish calendar holidays, etc.)
- Maintain a friendly and supportive atmosphere during events
Project Results:
- 30 volunteers involved in the project
